Dear Jean-Marc, What a beautiful collection of images from your incredible sojourn in Japan- thank you for sharing them! We traveled to Japan in 1990, from Tokyo to Nara and Kyoto, and on the bullet train to Miyajima. We came home changed forever, by the beauty of the land and its people. I am sure that you must have felt the same. With warm wishes from Canada’s West Coast~ ~Heather

Hi Heather,
What a pleasure to hear from you! Yes, fantastic country and very welcoming inhabitants. I had a small Lonely Planet dictionary, and always had sentences to start the conversation or thank. It was very appreciated! The flight was long and passed through Hong Kong, but the company Cathay Pacific is great! This is the first time I have taken a trip with a small group (10 people), an intense experience that allows me to see as many things as possible, restaurants, « onsen », temples, cities, etc. with a very efficient Japanese guide!
See you soon and a big hello to all your family.
